A MINIMUM NOTICE OF 24 HOURS IS REQUIRED FOR ALL LESSON CANCELLATIONS.
Cancellation procedure: 1. Call or Email WMEC - minimum 24 hours in advance. 2. Inform your instructor in writing regarding upcoming planned absences. Emergency Cancellation: Students missing a lesson due to an emergency situation still must contact WMEC as soon as possible to update our records regarding the missed lesson. No contact is considered a no show and the fee will be assessed. (Don’t wait until your next lesson to contact)
Session Dates:School Session Dates: September 1st – June 15th.Summer Session Dates: June 16th – August 31st.
Additional Absences:Students are responsible for payment of all additional absences beyond the above stated. Payment for a charged absence is due at the student’s next scheduled lesson.
Late/No notice cancellation procedure:The student will be charged a fee equal to the amount of the scheduled lesson for any classes cancelled or missedwith less than 24 hours notice. This includes cancellations concerning illness and transportation.(see emergency cancellation exception)
Payment for a late (or no show) cancellation is due at the student’s next scheduled lesson. If no notification is given for two consecutive lessons immediate removal from the schedule will result: the student will be billed for the lessons missed.
Advanced Deposit:Upon registration each student is required to pay a one-time deposit fee in the amount of one lesson. This fee will be held as a security deposit to ensure that the instructor is paid in the event of a forgotten payment, late cancellation, or a no-show on the part of the student. Upon taking their next lesson, the student is required to re-pay the advanced deposit. This deposit will be applied to the student's final lesson.
Lesson Holiday Closings:No lessons scheduled for the following holidays:New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day.Please note: Local school holiday closings are not indicative of WMEC holiday closings! Students will be responsible for attending lessons during holidays unless you have given proper notice.
